About Sadie
As a child, I discovered my love for hair when I cut my Barbie dolls’ hair and experimented with coloring using markers, paint, and even Kool-Aid. Later, I started cutting and coloring my friends’ hair. In high school, I was the go-to person for all my friends’ hair and makeup needs for dances.
In 2002, I began my hairdressing career as an apprentice at a salon, where I gained valuable experience and knowledge. However, I was hungry for more and decided to enroll in Paul Mitchell School in Costa Mesa, California, where I learned from some of the best educators in the industry. After graduating, I worked as an assistant for three years, during which I had the opportunity to work on movie sets and reality shows, which helped me to hone my skills and gain more experience.
When I moved back to Utah, I started teaching at Paul Mitchell School, and it was during this time that I discovered my love for hair coloring. Creating beautiful hair colors for my guests, especially blondes, became my passion. The challenge of finding the perfect color to complement my guests’ skin tone and eye color is always an exciting one for me, and I use a variety of techniques to achieve the desired result.
I am equally passionate about creating the best haircuts for all my clients, regardless of gender. Whether it’s a man or a woman, I take pride in creating haircuts that perfectly complement their facial features and bone structure. I am constantly learning and keeping up with the latest trends and techniques in the industry to provide the best service possible.
My journey has led me to Lunatic Fringe, and I have been a loyal team member ever since. At Lunatic Fringe, we are a dynamic force of creativity, and we never stop learning. From start to finish, I love everything about hair, and I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion every day.
Throughout my journey in the world of hair care, I discovered a gem in the form of a Lunatic Fringe salon. Since then, I have remained a loyal patron of this establishment. What sets Lunatic Fringe apart is its unparalleled creativity and an unwavering commitment to learn and improve constantly. Every aspect of hair care, from start to finish, fascinates me. I take great pride in making my guests feel beautiful and confident. I am driven by an insatiable passion to understand each guest’s unique needs and to help them achieve their desired look. The best part of my job is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with my guests – they are like family to me. I feel immensely grateful for the chance to pursue my passion every day and to help others feel their best.
I am certified and have received advanced education in Great Lengths hair extensions, Racoon hair extensions, Hot heads Tape-ins, cutting classes by Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and bumble University, and color classes from Horst Rechelbacher who started Aveda. I have been trained by so many unbelievable hair artist and makeup artists. I will continue to advance my education.
I met my wonderful husband when he walked into Lunatic Fringe in 2009, and we tied the knot in 2011. I became a bonus mom to a remarkably talented girl, and her presence sealed the deal for me, despite my earlier declaration to my husband that I didn’t date my guests. In 2012, our son came into the world, bringing with him an amazing, unstoppable energy. He’s into everything from football and wrestling to lacrosse, snow skiing, and water skiing. Then, in 2013, our beautiful daughter was born. She has a voice that captivates everyone, and she’s a little dancer who also enjoys snow and water skiing like her older sister. I often feel like a free Uber driver for my kids, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My mom is my best friend, and our family thrives on outdoor adventures and staying busy. Personally, I love water skiing, especially at our lake home in Branson, Missouri.
