Dena moved to Boise from Southern California in 2024, bringing 2 years of experience behind the chair with her. Teamwork and dedication to excellence were both non-negotiable in her search for a new salon home, and she found that in Lunatic Fringe! Dena has a talent for taking your vision and making it a reality. A life-long learner, Dena is passionate about education for herself and her guests. She wants every guest to leave her chair feeling heard, taken care of, and armed with knowledge. She loves to create stunning up-dos, natural reds and coppers, and flattering haircuts that prioritize the health of your hair.

Dena prioritizes balance in her life above all else. Outside the salon she enjoys working out, crocheting, reading, and spending time outdoors with friends. She is excited to create roots in Boise and build lasting connections with new guests!

Dena has received advanced education with Jayne Matthews in razor cutting pixies, shags, and mullets as well as Curl Cult roller set for shags.
